Enterprise Relationships

Collaborating with Industry to Cultivate the Future

French engineering education is renowned worldwide, with its essence lying in the "deep integration of theory and practice." School-enterprise cooperation serves as the bridge to achieve this goal. To cultivate outstanding engineers capable of solving practical problems and facing the future, UTSEUS considers "close connection with enterprises" as its core characteristic.

I. Core Philosophy: Why Do We Place Such Importance on School-Enterprise Cooperation?

We draw deeply on the successful experience of the world's top engineering education systems—particularly French engineering education—and are committed to breaking down the barriers between campus and industry, creating triple value for students, enterprises, and society:

l For Students: Apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios, gain early insights into industry frontiers, clarify career plans, and significantly enhance employability and career development potential.

l For Enterprises: Gain a priority channel for accessing and selecting outstanding talent, leverage the college's research capabilities and the youthful wisdom of students to solve technical problems, and inject innovative vitality.

l For the College: Promote the advancement of education and research in step with the times, feed back into teaching reform and curriculum optimization, and enhance the overall reputation and influence of the college.

II. Diverse Models: How Do We Implement School-Enterprise Cooperation?

UTSEUS has built a comprehensive, multi-level school-enterprise cooperation model that permeates the entire talent cultivation process and caters to different student groups, reflected in the following seven aspects:

1. Courses and Lectures: Bringing Industry Frontiers into the Classroom

We regularly invite corporate executives, senior engineers, and technical experts to campus to participate in course teaching or deliver thematic technical lectures. This not only exposes students to the latest technological trends, industry standards, and corporate culture but also allows them to engage in face-to-face exchanges with industry elites, broadening their horizons.

2. Internships in Companies: The Crucial Leap from Student to Engineer

Internships are an indispensable part of our training program. We have established stable internship bases with numerous well-known enterprises, providing students with a full range of opportunities, from summer cognitive internships and semester-long professional internships to pre-graduation employment-oriented internships. Students hone their professional skills in real workplace environments, completing the final transformation from knowledge to ability.

3. Company Visits: Feeling the Pulse of Industry Up Close

We organize visits for students to leading companies and innovative factories for observation and learning, providing them with an intuitive and profound understanding of modern business operations, advanced manufacturing processes, and management models. This lays a solid practical foundation for subsequent specialized studies.

4. Industrial Projects: Forging Abilities Through Real-World Challenges

We collaborate with enterprises to use actual engineering problems as topics for students' course design, graduation projects, or innovation project assignments. Under the joint guidance of academic supervisors and corporate engineers, students complete projects in teams, comprehensively exercising their skills in problem analysis, solution design, teamwork, and project management.

5. Industry Activities and Competitions: Sparking Innovation Through Exchange and Collision

The college actively organizes or participates in various industry forums, innovation boot camps, innovation project roadshows, and entrepreneurship competitions. These activities serve not only as a stage for students to showcase their talents but also as valuable platforms for them to establish connections with entrepreneurs, investors, and peers, greatly stimulating their innovative enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit.

6. Innovation Practice Platforms: Building New High Grounds for Collaborative Education

We jointly establish laboratories and innovation practice bases with enterprises. These platforms integrate the advantageous resources of both parties, providing students with opportunities to use advanced equipment and participate in cutting-edge R&D projects. They serve as cradles for cultivating top-tier innovative talents and generating scientific and technological achievements.

7. Express Lane to Employment: Seamlessly Connecting to Career Startpoints

Through long-term cooperation and two-way interaction, we accurately provide a large number of high-quality graduates to enterprises. Partner companies often regard our college as an important talent pool, achieving an effective link between talent cultivation and employment.

School-enterprise cooperation is an indispensable part of the educational DNA of UTSEUS. We look forward to joining hands with more outstanding domestic and international enterprises to continuously deepen the connotation of cooperation, innovate cooperation models, and jointly cultivate outstanding engineering talents capable of leading the future and solving complex problems, contributing the "wisdom and strength of UTSEUS" to social development and technological progress.
