Founded in 2007, the UTSEUS Innovation & Robotics Club is recognized as a Three-Star student organization at Shanghai University. Supported by the shared resources of the Sino-European School of Technology and Shanghai University’s Engineering Training Center, the club also has its own innovation laboratory.
The club’s activities mainly focus on building robots and sharing knowledge in fields such as mechanical design and programming. It also organizes visits to science and technology innovation events, helping members develop both independent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as a team.
Each year, the club hosts the “Sino-European Cup Innovation & Robotics Competition”, with professional faculty members invited to serve as judges. The competition is highly challenging and engaging, attracting students from across the university to discuss, experiment, and compete together, while strengthening their practical skills and collaborative abilities.
As a leading center for student innovation within UTSEUS, the club has, over the years, supported members in successfully applying for and carrying out a number of university-level, municipal-level, and national-level innovation projects, continuously bringing new energy to innovation activities at both Shanghai University and UTSEUS.
