Shang’ai Volunteer Brigade was founded in 2009 and is overseen by the Practice Department of the Sino-European Student Union. It currently operates through five volunteer service branches: the Robo-Fan Volunteer Team, Baoshan District Youth Science Station, the Science Popularization Education Promotion Center, the Zhiguang Volunteer Team, and Xingbao Nursing Home.

The brigade is committed to making volunteer service a natural part of students’ daily lives, encouraging volunteering not only as a way to enrich personal experience, but also as a meaningful means of helping others and giving back to society.

Born from love, small acts of kindness can grow into a powerful force. Today, an increasing number of volunteers from the Sino-European School are actively engaged in public service and community initiatives. Through countless individual efforts, they come together to create a lasting impact, showcasing the compassion, responsibility, and dedication of university students in the new era.
