The Youth League Committee and Student Union of the Sino-European School of Technology is a school-level student organization under the guidance of the School’s Youth League Committee. Since its establishment in September 2006, it has remained a long-standing and influential student force within the School. The Youth League Committee includes three functional departments: the Organization Department, the Publicity Department, and the Science and Innovation Department. The Student Union includes five functional departments: the Practice Department, the Sports Department, the Arts Department, the Academic Department, and the External Relations Department.
As a bridge connecting the School and its students, the Sino-European Youth League Committee and Student Union is deeply committed to serving students. With ideological guidance at its core, institutional reform as its driving force, and signature activities as its platform, it has organized well-known events such as the “Shining Sino-European” Awards Ceremony, the “Vitality at the Grassroots” class and Youth League development program, and the Sino-French Cultural Festival. It has also partnered with external companies such as Eaton and Schneider Electric to create competition platforms, while also launching a variety of activities including basketball tournaments and running clubs. Through these efforts, it comprehensively supports student development, promotes intercultural exchange, and safeguards student rights and interests.
Looking ahead, the Youth League Committee and Student Union of the Sino-European School of Technology will continue to uphold its original mission of “bringing the Youth League together to fulfill students’ aspirations.” With a pragmatic and action-oriented approach, it will deepen reform, innovate its activities, truly do practical things for students, and continue injecting youthful energy into both the School’s development and students’ growth.
