After the first editions in 2018 and 2019, UTSEUS organized from November 30 to December 4 a new session dedicated to innovation for 250 of its students.
Thanks to 10 innovation projects - corresponding to concrete questions and problems encountered by companies, or ideas - submitted by 7 of UTSEUS' partner companies - AliBaba Cloud, Sigfox, Siveco, Micropole, Inhands, etc. - the session was able to identify the most innovative projects and to identify the most promising ones. -50 groups of 5 students each from different specialties and classes were able to work for a full week, before presenting their results and solutions on the last day.

In a similar scheme to the "innovation crunchtime" organized in Shanghai as of 2018, the students were initially given several indications by the engineers and experts appointed by the companies and then advice from UTSEUS professors.
The prize award ceremony – including participation certificates - to the 50 student representatives took place on Friday, December 4, in the new UTSEUS conference room, in the presence of company representatives, who were able to give them their encouragement and support until the end of the week.
An informal discussion with the company representatives over a snack provided an opportunity to learn from this edition, in a format that will probably continue to evolve in the future, thanks in particular to the participation of future students of the master's program in "Mechatronics / Cyber-Physical Systems", which is planned to open at UTSEUS in the autumn of 2021.
The appointment is made for the end of 2021!
