As a French-Chinese engineering school, UTSEUS maintains and develops its relationships with technology companies, especially in Shanghai.

Thanks to the action of the French General Consulate in Shanghai, with the support of the French-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), within the framework of the "R&D club", UTSEUS has been invited this week to present itself in front of about twenty French and French-Chinese business leaders and representatives. Different education programs for Chinese and French students were presented. Numerous possibilities of interaction between UTSEUS and companies were recalled:

• lectures given by representatives and experts (managers, HR, engineers) to help give the students access to the professional world of industries

• factory visits

• innovation projects proposed to students as part of field courses or competitions    

• internships, an essential component of engineering education

• technical advice or research collaboration with professeur-researchers.

This meeting was also an opportunity for UTSEUS to introduce Mrs. HUANG Jieyi, our colleague in charge of developing UTSEUS’ connections with companies.

SPEIT (Shanghai Jiaotong - ParisTech Elite Institute of Technology), another French Chinese engineering school in Shanghai since 2012, has also been invited to present its structure and activities, several graduates were there to bring their personal testimony.
