UTSEUS Visited Dassault Systèmes Corporation in Shanghai
     

    On Friday, April 19, 2019, Liu Wanyu, Dean of UTSEUS, Marc Bondiou, French Dean of UTSEUS, and the heads of the International Program, visited Dassault Systèmes in Pudong, Shanghai to learn about the company’s cutting-edge technology trends and seek school-enterprise cooperation.


    Mr. Philippe Obry, Chief Engineer of Dassault's Stratification Business Innovation and Transformation,warmly welcomed UTSEUS’s visit and introduced the company's business, especially the 3D Experience series of applications developed based on 3D design, analysis and interaction.


    Later, the visitors were invited to the company showroom to learn more about the key stages of the product life cycle using the tools developed by Dassault through the display of real products. The most familiar ones are undoubtedly applied to mechanical design such as CATIA and SOLID WORKS, ENOVIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, etc., a total of more than a dozen applications and brands.


    This visit allows Dassault Systèmes and UTSEUS to see further possibilities for contacts and cooperation, especially through the "Innovation Crunchtime" and other activity platforms to deepen school-enterprise cooperation and further improvements of student cultivation.
