On April 22, 2021 in Shanghai, ADEN and UTSEUS signed their first memorandum of understanding (MoU), setting the stage for what is expected to be a fruitful academic-industrial cooperation between the two institutions.
An important delegation from UTSEUS, consisting of deans, professors, technical staff and students, attended the event at ADEN's premises, where they were welcomed by the chief of innovation, the HR and finance directors and their colleagues engineers and managers.
After the respective presentations of the activities of both institutions, a free snack allowed the representatives of both institutions to exchange moreinformally. Innovation projects are likely to be proposed to UTSEUS students - supervised by their professors -, in particular to the students of the new master engineering program present in Shanghai, andwill be jointly defined. The ambition is that these projects could lead to research and company internships, which are essential parts of the UTSEUS engineering program that opens in September 2021.
Founded in 1997, based in Asia and with more than 26,000 employees, ADEN is a leading international company inthe domainof integrated facility management*. ADEN already employs several engineers from UTSEUS and UT who participated in the meeting.
All our best wishes to the actors of this new cooperation andforthe results to come for the overall satisfaction.
